KYS Outdoor Adventures is built around small, personalized trips for families and groups of friends. Welcoming complete beginners is a central part of that experience. Capt. Lamont takes time to explain, demonstrate and help again whenever needed. You can arrive with no fishing knowledge at all; curiosity and a willingness to give it a try are enough.
As a father and grandfather, Capt. Lamont understands that the organizer is planning for people with different ages, abilities and expectations. A patient introduction can matter as much as the fish brought home.
Capt. Lamont’s job begins before the boat leaves the dock: answer the organizer’s questions, set expectations, prepare the gear, and help the whole group feel welcome.
