Your group has the boat to yourselves, with Capt. Lamont at the helm. Take photos, enjoy the scenery, and watch the water for birds and other wildlife along the way.

The Safari has a heated cabin and private restroom. Reserve your date and private 2-hour trip without committing to a departure time. Capt. Lamont confirms the time closer to your trip based on tides, weather, and the day’s schedule. Tell us any arrival or return-time restrictions when you request your trip.

Ask about sunset departures, available by arrangement when conditions allow.

Wildlife sightings vary from trip to trip.

Can we bring dinner?

Yes. Bring your favorite picnic or takeout to enjoy aboard. The table seats four, with additional bench seating. Food is brought by your group.

Can we request a sunset cruise?

Yes. Mention sunset timing in your request. Sunset departures are arranged with Capt. Lamont when conditions and the schedule allow.

Is this a private trip?

Yes. The $500 fare covers your own group of up to six passengers for a 2-hour sightseeing outing.

Will we see sea otters or other wildlife?

We watch for wildlife along the way, but sightings are never guaranteed. The photos on this page are Capt. Lamont’s own images from the water.

Can we choose our departure time?

Your reservation is for the date and a private 2-hour outing. Capt. Lamont confirms the departure time closer to your trip based on tides, weather, and the day’s schedule. Include any timing restrictions with your request so they can be reviewed before acceptance.
